Sadly I'm not a wizard so I can't actually use that quote. There where a few problems with the back code update but things should be back to working order again.

There a couple of things I want to point out in this comic.
The first thing being the Damage bar in the first panel.
If you've had the chance to play the pen and paper Role playing Game
"ShadowRun" then you recognize that bar right away. To make it short for those who haven't played, The damage bar keeps score on the damage you've taken during a fight, it also keeps tabs on the damage from using magic. The higher up the bar, the more damage that has been taken over time. For Jake (the telekinesis guy) I'm using a very direct (and ripped off) system to show the drain of his power. The other charters also have a system but it will differ between them.

The Second thing I would like to point out is that the symbol in Sami's eye. even though it might look Japanese or Chines, it actuly is my own little mark to help define Sami's powers as they grow. So there is no intentional meaning to that mark in real life. It does stand for bone blade with in the comic though.
